My name is Paul David Beard, I am a prominent young businessman from south london. As well as a self confessed entrepreneur, I love life, my family and friends and doing what I can to better society. But if this insane legistlation requirement ever comes to pass I will publicy refuse to endorse to the point of indefinite imprisonment. This is not a future I have envisaged for Britain and its people, nor any other people of the world.
We must oppose this dreadful depiction of our future now, that has been painted by central government and our central banking system.

Feel free to contact me if you share any degree of my opinion.

I would'nt accept it, even if it was truly secure. So many hackers these days can find out lots of things. What if you lose the card? You lose everything. With that, you are more secure carrying a bunch of cards, it lowers the chances of them getting it. But one thing that would be cool is if certain things were put on a chip and embedded somewhere like on a forearm. I dont think this pledge will stop the goverment or anything, but then again, we might only see the beginning of things like this in years to come.

...continued from above:

"DHS has kicked the can down the road to the next
administration, and conceivably the next two or three
administrations," said Barry Steinhardt, a lawyer with
the American Civil Liberties Union. Already, 17 states
have said they would either refuse to issue the new
licenses or have asked Congress to repeal a 2005 law
that required states to collect and store additional
data on driver's license applicants, such as birth
certificates, Social Security numbers and home
addresses.

Under Real ID, all new licenses would be
machine-readable and contain personal information that
could be scanned by governments and potentially by
corporations.

At a news conference yesterday, Homeland Security
Secretary Michael Chertoff said the guidelines
represent a balance between security and privacy in
accordance with the Real ID Act. He warned that
residents in states such as Georgia and Washington,
which have refused to comply with the program, may be
subject to additional security checks or prevented
from boarding flights once the program begins this
spring.

ID Plan Is Broadly Criticized
Bipartisan Objections Cite Security, Costs and Privacy

By Dafna Linzer
Washington Post Staff Writer
Saturday, January 12, 2008; A02

A new Bush administration plan to create national
standards for driver's licenses drew heavy criticism
yesterday from civil liberties groups, some Republican
and Democratic lawmakers, governors, and the travel
industry.

The critics said the new licenses anticipated under
the plan, which is aimed at screening out potential
terrorists and uncovering illegal immigrants, could
still be forged. They also complained that the
program, known as Real ID, would be costly for states
to implement, potentially restrict summer travel, and
allow private companies access to the personal data of
most U.S. citizens.

But they also welcomed yesterday's official
announcement that states have until May 2011 before
they need to begin issuing licenses that meet the
department's new guidelines, and until December 2014
to begin replacing current licenses. Drivers over the
age of 50 will not have to obtain new licenses until
the end of 2017.

The deadline extensions give both Congress and future
presidents time to reconsider what opponents have
depicted as a national identification system that will
infringe on privacy rights and leave room for
large-scale identity theft.

USA is a constitutional republic not democracy. We are not governed by the majority of the people but by the rule of law. The rule of law protects the minority and weak from the tyranny of the majority. We all have inalienable rights that cannot be voted away by a majority of voters. If the majority of the people want security and is willing to sacrifice liberty, the government still cannot infringe on the rights of the majority nor minority. Democracies are mob rule.

Democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner.

Freedom: Two very hungry wolves looking for dinner and finding a very well-informed and well-armed sheep.

"Freedom is not defined by safety. Freedom is defined by the ability of citizens to live without government interference." - Ron Paul

Take action everyday and every 11th. EMA: educate, motivate, activate. Many hands make light work.

Consider joining forces with those who try to prevent history from repeating itself. Become a student of history. We know of no better way to predict the future than by the past.

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'press on' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race." ~ Calvin Coolidge

Ron Paul, perhaps a final warning to apathetic Americans that Our forgotten legacy of a Republic is at risk. Our Liberties and our Currency ... all are collapsing.

Learn the elemental difference between a Democracy and a Republic. A precise, clear film about what's at risk; why, and the urgent demand for action.

History, it would seem, is about ready to repeat itself, with yet another doomed Empire that simply over-extended and economically collapsed from within. Similarly evident to all from the outside, but completely obscured to the citizenry who are about to perish. The Romans call to America from their graves............WAKE UP!

There are lots of good movements around the world for peace and justice, but most are just picking scales off of a dragon. Limited government, protection of the individual and 9/11 truth will be the only ways for us to protect the liberty of our children and the rest of the earth.

A film everyone should show their entire families and communities ASAP:

Every thinking human simply must get these under your belt before you can draw any logical conclusions. Conspiracies are EVERYWHERE; they are ubiquitous. Facts cry out for theories. Theories are EVERYWHERE; they are ubiquitous. The official conspiracy theory of 9/11 is irrational and highly implausible with a "low chance of probability". This begs the question, do the alternative theories fit into the puzzle better? Keep watching documentaries and consider all sides because, "Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance."

I never thought I would be agreeing with the Christians who think this card is part of the "mark of the beast," but here I am. I think this card steps over the boundaries of what is acceptable due to the excessive monitoring capabilities that are built in to the card.

There is no security-related purpose to this. If the idea is that we can track down one terrorist who was able to commit a crime on our soil, then that simply overstates the uselessness of the entire concept. You cannot use government tracking to find everybody who would wish harm to our nation. There will always be more as long as our foreign policy continues in this manner. There will never be a way to track every warm body that enters this patch of soil, large as she is, and with 12 million illegal immigrants here now, what's the point anyway? We're clearly never going to be able to find the people who don't want to be found.

Those of you who align with the "if you have nothing to hide" attitude need to read the statements of Thomas Jefferson. It isn't freedom if you have to justify it to yourself to feel it.
